Andy Nash on top of the world...

Andy is a teacher and session musician working in and around Cambridge with a brilliant history of genre-performing under his belt. He’s been through rock bands, classical guitar, cover bands, lead singing, epic soloing and finds himself playing dirty funk out of the underground scene in Cambridge with Bijoumiyo whilst cultivating a strong core of residencies around swanky restaurants in Cambridge, incorporating clever use of looping pedals and a brilliant ear for improvisation. His phrasing sets you at ease whilst pushing new formats, genre-crossovers and instrument usage. What I want to know is, when is he going to take up the challenge and be a lead singer again?

Swagger and Raymonde Groovier special-release tracks

Couple of great bands from East England that I’ve had the pleasure of recording at their live gigs.

Firstly Swagger, who are a Cambridge-Based covers band with cheesy 70′s,80′s & 90′s tunes blasted out by some very serious musicians. The overall band sound is eye-popping live and my recordings here are merely a glimpse of what they are up to.

Next is a session band put together for a couple of private events I attended, again recording the bands and helping with their live sound. Raymonde Groovier heads up this track with an impromptu rendition of superstition at the end of a set. This is Raymonde’s début singing performance captured here mainly through a drum mic overhead!
